Make It Count

February 28, 2012
Free fitness sessions with Nike 'Make It Count'

To mark the leap year, tomorrow, on Wednesday 29 February, Nike will take over the EDF Energy London Eye to host a series of Nike Training Club (NTC) classes, inspiring women to #makeitcount in 2012 and turn ambition to action.

As Nike continues to challenge and inspire women through sport, this event aims to encourage you to make the most of the extra day in 2012 – a day like no other.

To enable women to #makeitcount, Nike is hosting a unique NTC experience aboard London Eye capsules.

Each capsule will hold an NTC class for eight lucky participants, led by dedicated Nike Master Trainers from across the UK.

The workout will combine drills that are tailored for you to make yourself lean, toned and strong. Instructors will provide different degrees of intensity for all the moves so anyone can join in.

Each of the classes will be free for the public to attend by signing up on the Nike Training Club Facebook page.

It is not only the London Eye that will be involved, Nike will also be taking over the Southbank for the day.

Runners will be invited to take part in their extra special Leap day run, while a pop-up half court will appear for an impromptu basketball tournament.

The activities will end with a Leap Day celebration event, including rewards and refreshments for those who made the extra day count.

But ladies, this is only the beginning. Throughout 2012 Nike will be announcing a series of new NTC experiences and services to enable women and girls across the UK to help make themselves everything they want to be and achieve their goals for the year.

So why not join in with Nike and make this year count!
