Described by the organisers as a‘turbo-charged roller-coaster of a run…in tweed’ this event is certainly unique.
Set in the grounds of Traquair House, Peeblesshire in Scotland and taking place on 17 March 2012, this all-terrain event is about having fun rather than clocking PB’s.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged with tweed and tartan preferred. Choose from a 5k daylight event – perfect for those new to trail running or the 10k torchlit trail which sets off at dusk – head torches are required.
Both routes include hills, spills, obstacles and more. Once the race is over you can enjoy the post event party and there is camping on-site too.
This event is great fun for groups and there are reduced entry rates for teams of five or ten.
Entry cost: 5k - £35, 10k - £45
