The stunning surrounding scenery with Castle Howard’s 10,000 acres forms arguably the most physically challenging triathlon course of the series.

Triathletes run through the estate, taking in the historic monuments along the way, again with one lap for the Sprint and two laps for the Mid-Distance and Olympic races. The race ends with triathletes literally running into the front entrance of this truly magnificent Castle.
To compete in the Castle Howard Triathlon you can enter either as an individual, a relay team of two, or a relay team of three. The Junior and Children’s races follow the same format. Team entries can be all male, all female or mixed.
