Victorian State Swimming Championships

Details: The 2012 year will start in Australia for some of Britain’s athletes with swimmers from the British Gas ITCs of Bath and Loughborough competing at the Victorian State Championships in Melbourne.The Victorian State Championships is one of the eight international events Britain’s swimmers have targeted to compete in as part of the most intense phases of their year-long preparation for the 2012 Olympic games.
British Swimming National Performance Director Michael Scott said: “It’s critical that we provide our swimmers and coaches with access to a range of long course (50m) and short course (25m) competition opportunities over the coming months as they prepare for the British Gas Swimming Championships 2012.
