Holiday shoe report: Teva Mush

I have returned from the highlands with tales of marvelous shoes. First up is the Teva Mush. When they arrived in the office, we were a bit divided – on the one hand they were unbelievably comfy but on the other they reminded us us a pair of granny slippers. Even so they went in the holiday bag because they tick the boxes of both minimal and small/easy to pack.

In the highlands the weather is unpredictable and wellies are generally the must-have footwear, but we were lucky – it was dry and sunny most days. Not hot – but nice! Our campsite was located next to the beach, so barefooting is normal and shoes get abandoned all over the beach.

Within a couple of days, my Birkenstocks were abandoned and the Mushes became the shoe of choice.

So versatile, so comfortable, so easy, so perfect!

Here they are at home rock-pooling. They were also used for trail walking (up to about four miles), playing on the beach, kayaking, dinghy sailing and just hanging about.

Teva-MushThe only downside? the sole has become quite worn after two weeks continuous wear, but I can live with that.
