Specialized Women’s BG Torch Road Shoe
These cycling shoes are designed to be used with road bikes in either 2-bolt SPD or 3-bolt cleat systems. Lightweight and with a comfortable, contoured fit they are suitable all levels of rider and are mid range within Specialized’s extensive selection. Our tester was a total novice to cycling shoes and found them very easy to get used to.
The design features performance-enhancing Body Geomotry ergonomics in the outsole and footbed. There are also ventilation holes on the sole either side of the cleat attachment points and mesh on the upper to keep feet cool and ventilated.
Columbia Mobex Float
Thanks to the unique floating suspension system this backpack is great for mountain biking and trail running as it keeps the load off your back and means your neck and shoulders are free to easily move. The clamshell opening gives you easy access to all the contents and the ultralight construction will be appreciated more and more as the miles tick by.
Links of London Wimbledon collection
Price: £40 – £295
As our attention turns to the courts of SW19, tennis fans will love this cute collection from Links of London. As it’s the 125th anniversary of Wimbledon this year Links of London have designed a selection of Wimbledon classics, new fun editions and celebration pieces.
We love the Wimbledon themed charms including a gold vermeil tennis racket, a tennis ball and a strawberry design. You can also get their classic friendship bracelets in the purple and green Wimbledon colours.
CRAFT Bike Bra
A first for the bike world is this sports bra from Craft that’s been designed specifically for
cycling. We’ve tried bras designed for running, racket sports and ball sports thanks to Shock Absorber but this is the first one where the focus is on creating the perfect shape for the specific, forward-leaning position on a bike. Narrow shoulder straps and the wide cut-out around the shoulders are perfectly shaped to avoid chafing. And as cycling is a relatively static sport for the upper half of the body the amount of body control material has been reduced and instead a more cooling, super light fabric is used.
This herbal based muscle treatment has been developed by a Chinese chemist with many years experience of working with herbal medicines. Run it onto sore muscles and joints and it will soothe aches and pains. It can also be used as an decongestant. It’s really well priced, smells pleasant and won’t stain your clothes making it a medicine cabinet must-have.
