The inspiring new film, Soul Surfer, hit the big screens on June 17^th. The film is based on the true story of Rip Curl’s Bethany Hamilton.

Soul Surfer is the inspirational true story of surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a champion again, through the love of her family, her sheer determination and unwavering faith.

The film features an all-star cast, including Anna Sophia Robb and Helen Hunt, with Carrie Underwood in her film debut, and Dennis Quaid, directed by Sean McNamara and based on the book by Bethany Hamilton, Sheryl Berk and Rick Bundschuh.
