The Green Campaign

Roxy and Quiksilver are launching the second edition of their eco Green Campaign this June, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of preserving our water resources.

Roxy-Green-CampaignFor a brand that spends its time either on the snow or in the water, environmental issues are always going to be at the forefront. Their team of athletes have first hand experience of the changes that are happening to our planet.

Through a host of initiatives ranging from eco-design and environmental management, to awareness-raising events and partnerships with various associations, they hope to highlight the issues facing the earth’s water.

Head in-store and you will discover that June is set to be the ‘Green month’. Working under the slogan ‘Don’t destroy what you came to enjoy!’ the 2011 campaign introduces a ‘green line’ to symbolise the brands commitment to the environment. Seen in the store windows, inside the store and online too, the green line will direct shoppers to the Green Campaign eco friendly products.


Around 100 of these products will be on sale, with 1 euro being donated from the sale of each item to water protection projects. Last year over €80,000 was raised.


So if you fancy some guilt free shopping, this is a great way to do it!

Competition! Plus you are also being invited to post videos, drawings and photos illustrating your vision of the theme ‘Don’t Destroy What You Came To Enjoy’ and the concept of the green line. The winner will receive a fantastic longboard eco-designed by Notox in France, along with a cheque of 1,000€ made out to one of the three associations partnering the Green Campaign.
