Nokia Coast to Coast

When: September 17 – 18, 2011

Where: Scotland’s Coast, beginning at Nairn to Cawdor, Fort Augustus, Glen Nevis and finishing at Loch Leven.

Details: The Nokia Coast to Coast is a true 2 day point-to-point journey across one of the best known mountain landscapes in the World.

Challengers will have 2 days to cross the stunning coast as they run and road cycle across the Scottish Highlands, cycle to the summit of Fort Augustus, cycle and run to the summit of Glen Nevis and then finally kayak to the finish in Loch Leven. Racers and experts will have the option to complete the whole route in one day on the Sunday. This epic adventure is set against a stunning backdrop that is the best Scotland has to offer.

Distance: 105 miles for the Challengers, 100 miles for the Experts and 102 miles for the Racers.

Coast to Cawdor 10k run – £16pp

Saturday September 17, 2024

Challengers will cover 57 miles and begin on Nairn Beach and head south west on foot towards Cawdor Castle. The bike stage then begins and heads to Daviot and onwards to the southern shores of Loch Ness which Challengers will cross via kayak. After another run, they will reach their destination at Fort Augustus.

Sunday September 18, 2024

The second day begins with some off road biking as challengers head to Glen Nevis and run to the summit and back before jumping back in the kayaks and cross Loch Leven.

Finish and Celebrate

Challengers and racers alike will all have the opportunity to celebrate their triumph of crossing Scotland at The Isles of Glencoe Hotel. The finish line venue is a 4* hotel with comfy rooms, a pool, sauna and breath-taking views across the Loch.
