XperiaTM Hot Shots is following six young female tennis players on the Women’s Tennis Association 2011 tour as they embark on the road to superstardom.
Britain’s Heather Watson is one of the six who is being filmed for the web-based TV show throughout the 2011 WTA tournaments as well as when she is off court pursuing other passions.
As part of Sony Ericsson’s sponsorship of the WTA, XperiaTM Hot Shots is giving these up and coming tennis stars an opportunity to grow their online fan base on facebook and twitter.

The girls have been given exclusive access to the world of music, film, gaming and fashion, below you can see a video of Heather at Richie Rich’s Miami Fashion Show.
Heather is the youngest XperiaTM Hot Shot which also includes Bethanie Mattek- Sands (USA), Alize Cornet (France), Sabine Lisicki (Germany), Sorana Cirstea (Romania) and Dominika Cibulkova (Slovakia).
The Hot Shots were chosen for their great personalities, their potential on and off court and their desire to connect with fans on social media.
Sony Ericsson brand ambassador Maria Sharapova said: “ I wish I’d had this opportunity when I started playing. It sounds like they’re going to be getting up to some pretty amazing stuff over the next few months.”
Heather has a WTA ranking is 125 and has trained at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida since she was 12.
In 2009 Heather became the first ever Brit to win the girls singles at the US Open.
At the end of the year the player that has generated the most support on Facebook will win a Sony Ericsson support deal.
