National Forest 10k

Where: Conkers, National Forest

Details: The second National Forest 10k start at 10:15 and will take runners on a scenic off-road route along the former railway, the Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail, to the Donisthorpe Woodland Park.

It will then follow the Ashby Canal and join the Conkers Circuit before a downhill finish to Conkers Discovery Centre.

There will also be a mile-long fun run for children and families which you can sign up for on the day.

There will be cash prizes for the male and female winners, plus prizes for runners up, teams, veterans, beating last year’s top time and spot prizes.

There can be a maximum of 500 participants and it costs £10 to enter the 10k (£8 for affiliated members) and £3 for the fun run.
