The man who brought us our Boris’ Bikes is now intent on a new two wheeled quest. BoJo intends to launch what will be the ‘world’s largest timed bike race’ in our glorious capital. If all goes according to plan this epic ride will start in 2013 bringing 30,000 amateur cyclists around the Olympic road race course, spanning 20 boroughs and including a climb up Box Hill.
No need to dust off my marathon trainers
I ran the London marathon a few years ago, it was bloomin’ hardcore and I swore I’d never do it again. However, on two wheels, well that is a different story all together. Once again Boris, I am loving your work.
