Details: With the Brighton Half Marathon just around the corner, the organisers have announced that bond places are sold out for the 2011 race.

Brighton Half 2011 LogoGeneral public places were sold out in December, runners have since then been able to secure a place in the race by purchasing a limited Sussex Beacon VIP bond place and supporting the organising charity.

The Brighton Half Marathon, which is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, takes place on Sunday 20th February. Some charities still have places available, get in touch with WaterAid, St Dunstan’s or RISE directly if you do want to be one of the 8,000 runners on the start line next week.

Entry to the 1 mile Youth Races along Madeira Drive is still open and registrations will also be taken up until 8.45 am on the day. The Youth Races are aimed at young runners aged 8-11 and 12-16. The entry fee is £2-3 and everyone receives a medal and a goody bag at the finish line.
