Experience London’s landmarks in a unique way.

February 16, 2011

When: 26th March 2011

Where: London

Details: Ever fancied abseiling in the City of London, leopard crawling through Hyde Park or running an obstacle course in the moat at the Tower of London? If that sounds like fun, then register for a London sightseeing tour like no other and get fit army-style with The Soldier Challenge, a new fundraising urban adventure race from ABF The Soldiers’ Charity – the charity that supports soldiers for life.

The challenge is open to all fitness levels and promises to be a fun experience. Teams of between two and four people can complete up to 35 military themed tasks and challenges (as many or as few as you like) in the Capital including an assault course at the side of the River Thames and cargo net climbing at Imperial War Museum.

The Mayor of London Boris Johnson said:
”The Soldier Challenge is a brilliant idea. For those taking part it will be a unique way to explore the city, getting you into places you might not normally be able to, and testing your mental agility as well as your physical endurance. Most importantly, it will also be raising money for soldiers, veterans and their families. For their dedication and sacrifice I urge people to give it a go and if you can’t, please give generously to this great cause.”

More Info: With registration officially open, now is the perfect time to kick start a fitness programme. To find out more, or to secure a place, visit www.soldierchallenge.co.uk.
