If you love cycling then this is the blog for you - This week Sportsister’s Katie Gormley is enjoying a cycling tour in Thailand.

Katies trip is the Northern Highlights Tour ^[1] which starts in the northern city of Chiang Mai and heads north visiting temples, elephants, orchids, paddy fields, local markets and restaurants. Over 5 days she will cover about 300km ending up in Chang Saen, north of Chiang Rai.

Looking like a dodgy backpacker in ripped jeans and t-shirt Katie arrives on her first day to discover that the hotel she is staying in is a stunning old colonial Lanna style boutique hotel ^[2].
