January 31, 2011

An icy course greeted the Elite Women on the second day of the 2011 UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships. Current National Champion Helen Wyman lined up alongside Nikki Harris and Gabby Day to represent GB in the Elite Women’s category.

Helen and Nikki both had good starts and left the start loop in about 10th and 11th position. Nikki slipped on the off-camber in the first lap and lost a few places putting her into 18th position.
