When: June 4-5, 2011
Where: Yorkshire Dales, UK
Details: Trailtrekker is a 100km trek for teams of four, taking place over 30 hours across the Yorkshire Dales. Up to 250 teams take part in the event each year, all raising money to help people in poverty.
New for this year are the shorter Bronze (38.6km) or Silver (64.9km) distances if you don’t want to take on the full 100km trek. You will follow the same route as the Gold (100km) trekkers, but finishing at the relevant distance checkpoint along the course.
The route passes some breathtaking scenery, 100km of beautiful views across the Yorkshire Dales. Starting and finishing in Skipton you’ll head out over Malham Cove and Pen-y-ghent before looping round past Buckden and Conistone on your return. If you’re after a charity challenge that takes in some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the UK then look no further!
