When: 10 April 2024
Where: Paris
Details: With marathons all over the world, the Paris marathon has to be one of the most beautiful locations. Starting along the Champs-Elysee with the Arc de Triumph nestled behind, you will pass many of Paris’ world famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and run along the banks of the Seine.
In 2010, 40,000 runners took to the streets of the French capital, over 5,000 of which were from the UK, so why not make 2011 the year you join them.
Last year it was the Ethiopians who dominated the rankings, claiming six out of the top ten spots with Atsede Baysa crossing the finish line in 2:22:02. Even if you don’t think you can go quite that fast, the Paris marathon is still an event well worth participating in.
