When: 11th December
Where: Battersea Park, London
Details: A real Christmas spectacle! Put runners in fancy dress and suddenly a run around the park becomes 10 times more fun.

PLEASE NOTE:
THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED FROM SATURDAY 4TH DECEMBER TO SATURDAY 11TH DECEMBER
Here’s what the organisers said:
We are in touch with the Met Office regarding the weather conditions the night before and early in the morning of Saturday 4th December. The forecast is for a low of -7C overnight and possible light rain or sleet in the morning. Fresh snow would not be a problem to run on but the combination of a deep frost with light rain falling could possibly provide black ice in the morning making it unsafe to run.
Battersea Park are kindly letting us restage the run on Saturday 11th December – one week later. Please keep the race number we have sent you to use on the new day. Timings and all other instructions remain the same so please refer to the joining instructions already sent to you.
As this is a charity event and the charity has already met the expenses of hiring the venue, purchasing Santa suits and medals unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund of your entry fee if you are now unable to make the revised date.
Event details:
This is definitely the case with the London Santa Run. Join 2,000 others Santa’s in this 6k charity festive fun run, and help raise money for Disability Snowsport UK.
The London Santa Run is a 6k fun run which pulls in participants from miles around. It starts at 10am (with registration and suit collection from 8.30am) and participants are welcome to run, walk or wheel their way round – as the course is wheelchair friendly. All runners receive a Santa suit to wear on the day.
Even if you don’t intend to run, it is an event worth taking a break from all that Christmas shopping to see 2,000 Santas running around the park. So come along and bring some Christmas cheer and support all the participants to raise money for a good cause.
More info: If you’d like to take part, entries are still available at www.runnersworld.co.uk or by ringing 01252 373797. Runners need to raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship each in addition to the entrance fee of £20. This enables the charity to help thousands of people with disabilities to take part in snowsports in the UK and overseas with the help of specialist adaptive instructors and equipment.
