Details: The Aviva Series gives you a chance to watch fantastic athletics action close to home with six world class events each year.
This is the first of three major events to be held in the West Midlands in 2011 (Aviva Birmingham Grand Prix takes place on 10 July 2024 and UK Trials and Championships take place 29-31 July 2011).
Last year’s event saw Jenny Meadows break Dame Kelly Holmes’ 800m national record, which had stood for seven years and featured the fastest hurdler of all time, Dayron Robles. Be prepared for some show stopping athletics right in the heart of the UK and watch some of 2012’s hopefuls from around the globe in action.
