The wait is now over and we can reveal that the long anticipated Scott X-Tri Race Series will hit the UK in the spring of 2011.  With the support of Scott Bikes and four of the country’s top event directors, it is sure to be the off-road race series to be involved in.

Tri-x-seriesThere will be four races spread across England, Scotland and Wales with over £5000 of Scott prizes to be won and the chance to race on spectacular courses in amazing pockets of the UK.

Each location will hold a Scott Championships Triathlon consisting of a 1500m open water swim, a 25-40km mountain bike and a 10km trail run.

Every race will have their own unique twists so no two races will be the same and inject a little spice into the mix!

At each race there will also be an off-road sprint triathlon and either an off-road duathlon or a 10km trail run, so there’s something for everyone.  There will be activities for the kids, spot prizes throughout the day and a live band so it’s the perfect opportunity to invite friends and family along for some all-important support on the big day.

Organisers will be using new and established races for the series and with the success of the first ever National Cross Tri Championships at the Durty Tri last year and with the XTT hosting it this year, they have two of the biggest current races already within the series. This together with the addition of new races at the Mud & Mayhem and the Wales X-Triathlon, makes for a great Scott X Tri Series.
