Despairing of the “heinous cycling jerseys, woeful lycra crimes and tri suits so unflattering it is beyond amusing” (their words, not mine..) Emily, Sarah and Anna of Go Spin decided to create a brand of practical and fashionable sportswear. Triathletes, marathon runners and spinning instructors in their own right, these girls know what’s what what it comes the sports gear.

Saucony Lady ProGrid Hurricane Running Shoe

The Hurricane has long been Saucony’s top of the range luxury shoe for the broadest market, the moderate - maximum pronator. Pronation is the inward roll of the foot, in particular the heel and arch. You can tell if you are a pronator by looking at your shoes - the outer soles will wear down along the inside of the ball of the foot.

The Hurricane is extremely cushioned and the fabrics used in the upper section of the shoe are breathable, anti microbial and moisture wicking. The fit easily adapts to a variety of foot shapes so is a great model if you are after comfort, style and excellent support.

Knog bicycle locks

Australian brand, Knog, has just launched a new range of funky bike locks, and we have to say, we are a fan. They have brought out several models to suit all levels of need and protection, all in colourful, stylish designs.

Fisticuff lock: The unique design provides security on two points of a bicycle. The 1.2m cable wraps around and secures the front wheel to the bike’s frame then winds back down again to secure the bike against a street pole or parking metre.

Ringmaster and Locker lock: Described as a “serious urban circus act” this lock is built to protect your bike in the big bad city and is designed to withstand bolt-cutter attacks. Strength tested to more than 300kg of tensile load, this is one seriously strong piece of gear. It can be purchased alone or with Knog’s new Locker, a padlock that looks smooth and shiny on the outside but is tough as nails on the inside, offering you the ultimate in protection.

Sausage lock: These bright, fun locks come in three lengths and thicknesses for different levels of protection. The Party Frank, Kabana and Kransky are made of smooth non-mark, non-scratch silicon and come in four colours.
