Nominations are now open for the Sunday Mail and sportscotland Scottish Sports Awards 2010. Now is the time to cast your vote for inspirational Scottish sports stars, local or international – there are awards for those that grace the world’s TV screens as well as those that play for local clubs and schools.

There are 13 categories in which to vote including a brand new category celebrating school sport as well as the current awards such as Local Hero, Sport of the Year, Inspirational performance and sportscotland Sports Personality of the Year.

The winners will be announced on 2^nd December at a fantastic ceremony held at the Hilton Glasgow. STV will also broadcast coverage on 5^th December.
