Modern Pentathlon: Relay gold for Britain at pentathlon World Junior Championships

The British relay trio of Katy Burke, Kate French and Freyja Prentice took home gold on Monday at the pentathlon World Junior Championships in Hungary. They beat off China who finished second and Poland in third place for the top honours.

Britain won two more medals at the championships. Burke and Prentice took another gold medal along with Samantha Murray in the team event on Saturday. Prentice also won a silver individual medal. Teammate French just missed out on bronze in the individual competition with a fourth place finish.
