We have teamed up with Nokia to offer one lucky Sportsister reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to participate in the Nokia Thames Swim on August 1 2010, one of the events in this year’s Nokia Outdoor Series.

The Nokia Thames Swim will start outside historic Hampton Court Palace and end, two miles later, at Ravens Ait, a small island in the Thames south of Kingston Bridge. This is a first for swimmers and spectators alike: you can’t normally swim in this stretch of the Thames.

The winner will receive a pair of tickets for themselves and a partner or friend to take part in this fantastic sporting challenge.

Deadline for entries is July 9, 2010.

Although the race is not for novice swimmers, it is open to anyone of competent swimming ability aged 18 or over on race day, with wetsuits being compulsory.
