The M.E.N Arena will play host to the Yonex European Badminton Championships this month,(April 14-18) with Britain’s top players all ready for action.
New English partnership Anthony Clark and Heather Olver look likely to play Polish second seeds Robert Mateusiak and Nadiezda Kostiuczyk, a replay of the Herning, Denmark final two years ago where Clark beat the duo to win gold with now retired partner Donna Kellogg.
To make it to this clash though the pair have to beat Ireland’s Sam and Chloe Magee first in their starting game.
Victory in both matches could see them up against England’s third seeds Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork.
