Match play is a different kind of scoring system in golf; the player or team who wins the hole, wins the point. This is different to the more commonly used stroke play scoring, where the total number of strokes is counted across one or more rounds of 18 holes.

Both women are in the GB&I team for the 2010 Curtis Cup which is to be held in June. Fellow squad members Charlie Douglass and Charlotte Ellis failed to qualify for the next stage of this competition with rounds of 86, 74 and 81, 75 respectively.
