Badminton: Cann wins fourth title after epic

Jersey’s Elizabeth Cann scooped her fourth title after saving three game points against Helen Davies (Cheshire) on the way to a 23-21 21-15 triumph.

The top seed, who did not return to training until last September following a car accident which sidelined her for five months with back trouble, said:

“That made up for losing in last year’s final.”
