Hockey: Champions Trophy squad return for indoor action and four new faces for the women

The England indoor squads to face Scotland at Paisley’s Lagoon Centre later this month have been named.

In the women’s squad, Nick Clarke welcomes youngsters Sarah Haycroft, Lauren Turner, Georgie Twigg and Hollie Webb, all of whom are still shy of their 20th birthdays and will make their senior indoor international debuts in Scotland. They are replacing Jo Ellis, Susie Gilbert, Chloe Rogers and Sally Walton, who are dropping out due to Great Britain’s test series in Argentina.

The women’s team will be using the tests in Scotland as vital preperation for their respective European campaign in January as they are looking to climb out of the Challenge division after narrowly missing out on promotion in Sheffield two years ago.
