Badminton: Clark and Kellogg miss out on title in Denmark
European champions Anthony Clark and Donna Kellogg were narrowly defeated in the Denmark Open mixed doubles final by Danish second seeds Joachim Fischer and Christinna Pedersen title.
Seventh seeds Clark (Notts) and Kellogg (Derbyshire), the 2006 world runners-up, went down in the final in Odense 21-16 25-27 21-17 in an 82-minute battle, the longest match of the tournament.

In an amazing second game the English National champions saved seven match points before taking it 27-25 to square the contest.
But the Danish pair overcame a two-point deficit midway through the decider to pull away and take the title.
The duo had pulled off a stunning straight-games win over China’s sixth seeds Tao Jiaming and Zhang Yawen to reach the final.They also knocked out team mates Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork in the quarter-finals.
Clark and Kellogg will return to the title trail on Wednesday when they go into the Yonex French Open in Paris.
