Surrey Storm, the newest franchise in the Netball Superlegaue,  has signed attacker Tamsin Greenway and shooter Rachel Dunn to add to their haul of England players for the upcoming season.

Greenway, 27, who featured in last week’s internationals against Australia and New Zealand, will play for the London and South East Superleague Franchise for the whole season and will not be participating in the ANZ Championship in 2010.

Recently selected for the World 7 Select team, Greenway has 23 caps for England and played for Team Bath for eight years, winning three Superleague titles.  She had played two seasons in the ANZ Championship for Queensland Firebirds alongside Jamaican shooter Romelda Aiken.

The Leicester-born attacker said: “I was excited by the challenge at Storm and the offer they presented me.  I am really pleased to be part of their new look squad.  I have had some fantastic times at Team Bath and am now looking forward to future successes with Surrey Storm.”
Dunn, 26, has also collected three titles at Bath and the shooter became the first ever to score four points from one shot during an England power-play at the World Netball Series in Manchester.  She has notched up 30 caps for England and has been part of the national squad since 2004, winning bronze at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Interestingly, she also works as a Medical Laboratory Assistant.

Surrey Storm now have four England internationals in their squad, with Greenway and Dunn joining fellow international teammates Geva Mentor and Sonia Mkoloma. They will join squad training following a rest period after a hectic international schedule which included the World Netball Series and Internationals against Australia and New Zealand.

Hampshire, 21, an impressive mid-courter for Lightning last season, joins defender Hannah Reid as the second player to make the move from Lightning.
