Children’s Mutual Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon
When: Sunday 28th February 2010
Where: Tunbridge Wells, South East England
Details: Entries are now open for The Children’s Mutual Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon.
The event is one of the highlights of the racing calendar in the South East and comes just seven weeks before the Virgin London Marathon, making it an ideal warm up.
As winner of the prestigious Runners World ‘Most Improved Event Award 2009′ and organised by local club Tunbridge Wells Harriers, the race attracts nearly 2,000 entrants of all abilities and is fast becoming considered one of the ‘must do’ events in the area. The single lap route takes in the rolling hills of the beautiful Kentish countryside and is a challenging, yet fast course.
Dame Kelly Holmes will open the event in February and will be there to support her team of runners from the newly launched charity, The Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust (www.dkhlegacytrust.org).
Entries are available online at and cost £21.50 for a non-affiliated runner and £19.50 for a club runner.
Runners are encouraged to enter early to avoid disappointment. Entrants are limited at 2,500.
