Football: Women’s Premier League Cup first round results
Women’s Premier League Cup holders Arsenal made a strong start to the defense of their title with a 4-1 victory over Watford. Much of the credit for the Gunners’ win goes to Scotland’s Kim Little, who scored a hat-trick.
Hornet, Sally Wade scored the first goal of the match in the third-minute, however Little equalised the score-line only four-minutes later and soon led the Gunners to victory.
In Doncaster, the Belles beat Leeds City Vixens by 5-0. Whilst Everton, who were up against Sheffield Wednesday, also won at home 5-0.
