Netball: New Zealand secure second win over England
The five Test match tour of Australia and New Zealand came to an end in Palmerston North yesterday, with the England Netball Team losing to the Silver Ferns (New Zealand).
Encouraged by the remarkable turn-around victory on Wednesday in the second test (England winning 40 - 38 for first away victory against New Zealand), England went into the match with history beckoning, but it was the Silver Ferns who dominated after a competitive first quarter, and ultimately ran away with the match, winning 61 - 22.
England started with the same line-up that had played so effectively only days earlier, but New Zealand showed the expected determination and fight to preserve their status.
