The British Olympic Association selected the first draft of Team GB track and field athletes for Beijing yesterday. The final list of competitors will be announced this Saturday, following a confirmation of medical fitness for some athletes.
2004 Olympic medallist Kelly Sotherton and world medallists Christine Ohuruogu and Nicola Sanders are among members of Team GB which is expected to consist of around 300 athletes.
