Details: The GORE BIKE WEAR series are one loop events, starting and finishing at the same location of the event village. Participants will be able to camp out in the event village from Friday to Monday and have the opportunity to do road riding as part of the new Road Sportive Series on the Saturday and cross country riding as part of the Merida Bike MTB Marathon Series on the Sunday. Participants have the option of either taking part in the 50mile or 100mile ride, but neither are designed for just specialist riders.
GORE and retail partner WHEELBASE will be offering a ‘Try before you Buy’ service where participants can try out products from the GORE BIKE WEAR range which they can then return, or buy after use.
Cost of participation is £25 which covers entry to either the 50mile or 100mile ride, ‘after ride food’, use of service stations, riding tuition, camping in the event village, and a finisher gift.
The road riding series will take place in different locations across the UK including Wales, Cumbria, and the Scottish Borders.
