Details: The 2008 ASP Womens World Qualifying Series tour kicks off at Woolamai Beach, Phillip Island, in Southern Australia, with the 6-Star ASP World Qualifying Series Roxy Pro Women’s Surfing Festival.
Seventy-two surfers representing nine countries will take part in the highest rated event on the ASP Womens World Qualifying Series tour, which holds a prize money purse of US$ 35, 000 as well as valuable ASP ratings points.
The event runs from Jan. 21- 27, 2008 and has a ‘mobile option’ meaning surfers will compete in the best possible surf on offer at any of the surfing beaches around Phillip Island.
